Be a Referee
If you’ve ever thought of officiating, here is your chance. The Three Rivers Football Officials Association is looking for referees. As a referee, you get to help kids learn the rules of football while also challenging yourself physically and mentally. Plus you get to wear a nifty shirt all your friends will be jealous of. The camaraderie among football officials is great as we work as a team to provide a safe, fair environment for athleticism.
How to Become a Football Referee

- Study rule books!
- Attend the CHSAA Football Officaials Master Clinic (July 17th in Grand Junction
- Attend Meetings/Trainings
- Take the New Officials Test
- Hold your whistle til the ball carrier’s knee is down!
